What to Expect at a Bridal Makeup Trial
A bridal makeup trial is a full run-through of your wedding-day look, done ahead of time so there are no surprises on the day itself. It's a conversation as much as an application — bring photos of looks you love (and ones you don't), your dress details or a photo of it, and any inspiration you've been collecting.
During the session, expect questions about your skin, any sensitivities, your venue and lighting, and how long you'll be wearing the makeup — all of that shapes product choices, not just the final look.
It's completely normal to ask for adjustments during a trial — softer eyes, more definition, less shimmer, whatever isn't quite right. That's exactly what the trial is for.
Take photos in different lighting before you leave, and if possible, wear the makeup for a few hours afterward to see how it wears — that's the best way to know it'll hold up on the actual day.
